Puppeteer History

Cann Memorial Puppeteer Ministry started in the early 1980's. It was established and has continued to thrive through youth involvement of grades 6 through 12, under the direction of an advisor. Puppets have grown in number and remain until they can no longer be used due to wear, while puppeteers participate for the years this program is available to them. The group's participants have changed over the years, but its purpose remains the same.

A Unique History

Through the puppets, both the young and the young at heart can be uplifted and touched in an original way. With a variety of songs and stories, our puppets and puppeteers spread God's word.

Our Cast of Characters

Whether your entertainment of choice is Sesame Street or the Antique Road Show, our puppets will aspire to keep you captivated. You may find humor with classic characters like Ralph and Elmer, or you may find a sincere message within the words of Priscilla or Herby. Cann Memorial has quite a diverse group of puppet personalities.
